A blessing to see these icons together
Impressive that Stevie's voice is still strong, I have followed both performers since the 70s. Anyone who would argue should stop for a moment and ponder what you will be and where you will look like in your 60s. Both performers thanked the men and women of our military and paid tribute to them. Dave Matthews Band's voice appeared weak at some points, being overpowered by his back up singers. His energy made up for it though, even had the energy to kick a couple dozen soccer balls up into the crowd. Stevie Nicks even asked the audience to donate to 3 choices of organizations that benefit our wounded troops. For two performers in their '60s', both Stevie and Dave Matthews Band remain amazing entertainers. Every time I see one of these icons perform, I feel blessed, as well as a little sad...eventually it will be the last time we see them perform (maybe even now). I wonder how many young artists of today will draw such an audience 40 years from their beginning. Truly an enjoyable show.
